Reaching the World
The tide of the Protestant Reformation turned on a technological advancement. Martin Luther used the new invention of the printing press to distribute his writings in German far and wide. The tide of the civil rights movement, led by Martin Luther King Jr., turned on a technological advancement as well. The crossing of the Edmund Pettis Bridge in Selma, Alabama, on March 7, 1965, known as "Bloody Sunday," was captured and broadcast live on national television, shocking the nation and galvanizing support for the civil rights movement. So whether it was the message that we are saved by grace and not works, or the message that all men and women are created in the image of their Maker, God has continued to use every modern innovation to share the Good News of His Kingdom.
We have a deep conviction that we should be using our technological advancements in video to share the Gospel as much as we can. By capturing the content created each Sunday and sharing it out in smaller 30-second >> 3-minute long clips that point to the larger message, we believe we will start to reach this world with the beautiful Story of Jesus.
These clips are the very "seeds" that become shareable online to your friends, family, and neighbors and allow you to start conversations about Jesus that would otherwise never happen.
