JESUS STORYBOOK Bible

This week the kiddos discussed the coming holiday of Thanksgiving and how we, as the Church, can give thanks to the Lord and love others. They discussed how one of our feast meals can turn into many meals for families, much like Jesus feeding the 5000 with just two fish and five loaves of bread.

Lead your kiddos at home:

• READ ALOUD 
  • Filled Full (pg. 244 Jesus Storybook Bible)
  • Psalm 9:1
    • "I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds."
• TALK ABOUT 
  • Ask your kiddo if anything stuck out to them in the story. [Answers vary] 
  • Ask, "How can the meals we hand out this week make someone's life better? [We are providing a meal to feed a whole family to get nourishment, we are helping a family in need, we are showing the love of Christ to those around us by sharing what we have, etc.]
  • Ask your kiddo if there is anything they want to pray to thank God for? [Answers vary]
